Atlanta was awarded the World Cup due to its southern hospitality, rich USA history, diversity and the amazing soccer “futbol” fans that call this city their home.  With an an expected 2 million visitors descending upon Atlanta for the 2026 Fifa World Cup, Atlanta’s most desired locations will be booked well in advance. We are planning ahead with our partners to build events and create a bucket-list experience you’ll be talking about for the rest of your life!

For the first time in history, the World Cup is being held in three countries including the United States, Canada and Mexico. This will also be the first World Cup to host 48 countries (an increase from 32). Atlanta, also known as “the ATL”, was selected as a host city for the semi-finals.
